Medical Description
Ferigem tablet is a medicine used to support red blood cell formation, especially when iron, folate or vitamin B12 needs are identified. It contains a combination of ferrous asparto glycinate, L-methylfolate and mecobalamin, a form of vitamin B12. Iron supplies material for haemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein in red blood cells, while folate and vitamin B12 help blood cells develop normally. Ferigem tablet is taken by mouth as advised by a doctor.
