Feliz S Plus Tablet Description

Feliz S Plus tablet is a prescription medication. Managing the symptoms of anxiety disorder, mood disorders, and comorbid depression are the most common uses of Feliz S Plus tablets. It is a combinat

ion of two active components: Clonazepam and Escitalopram. Clonazepam is a tranquilliser (medicines that reduce anxiety and fear). Escitalopram is an antidepressant and helps stabilise mood. Mood disorders such as anxiety and depression affect how one feels and drastically reduce the quality of life. The mode of action of Feliz S Plus tablets is by reducing the excess activity of nerves in the brain and stabilising mood. The medicine also induces a calming effect and sedation. Drowsiness, tiredness, diarrhoea, stomach issues and slow heart rate are some side effects of Feliz S Plus tablets. Follow your doctors’s directions for using Feliz S Plus Tablet carefully. Monitoring dose is important in older adults and those with liver and kidney illnesses. This medication can cause physical dependency in the long term. Uses of Feliz S Plus Tablet

As per CDSCO, the Feliz S Plus tablet is used for the following conditions:
In the treatment of the symptoms of comorbid depression (depression associated with other disorders)
In the management of symptoms of anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and other mood disorders

Contraindications of Feliz S Plus Tablet

It is contraindicated in the following cases:
If you have any allergic reaction to the components of Feliz S Plus tablets
If you have a history of alcohol addiction or substance abuse, mental health disorder, depression, etc.
If you are using other anti-anxiety or sedatives; they can interfere with Feliz S Plus tablets and cause adverse reactions
If you have acute-angle glaucoma (an eye condition that causes high fluid pressure inside the eye); Feliz S Plus tablets worsen the condition
If you have liver disease
If you have a seizure disorder and are on antiepileptic (anti-seizure) medication
