Evaquik Tablet is a stool softener medicine. It contains prucalopride as its active ingredient. It is used to treat constipation. It is a condition characterised by difficult, infrequent and/or incom

plete defecation. This medicine works by enhancing the motility of the gut and facilitates defecation. Along with this medicine, it is advised to consume foods that are rich in fibre such as fruits, vegetables and grains. Uses of Evaquik 2 MG

For the treatment of constipation of unknown origin or known cause.

Contraindications of Evaquik 2 MG

If you are allergic to prucalopride or any of the other ingredients of Evaquik Tablet.
If you are on dialysis, have perforation or obstruction of the gut wall or have intestinal diseases.

Pregnancy

Can I take Evaquik Tablet during pregnancy?

Evaquik Tablets should not be taken during pregnancy. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy before initiating the treatment. While taking this medicine use an effective contraceptive.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Evaquik Tablet while breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding is not recommended while on treatment with this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Evaquik Tablet?

Evaquik Tablet doesn’t affect your driving abilities. However, you may feel tired and dizzy during the first few days of treatment. Avoid driving if affected.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Evaquik Tablet?

There is no known interaction between alcohol and Evaquik Tablet.
