This medicine is used in the treatment of bacterial infection of the vagina called bacterial vaginosis. It improves the symptoms of bacterial vaginosis like abnormal vaginal discharge, burning sensation while urination and itching.

Evanew Vaginal tablet contains probiotic bacterial flora named Lactobacillus Brevis, Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactobacillus Plantarum. They are normal bacterial flora and helps in maintaining the normal vaginal PH. This medicine improves the local immune system. It competes with harmful bacteria for nutrition. It also produces local antimicrobial substances. Eventually, they improve the symptoms related to bacterial vaginosis.
