Description
Etilaam 0.25 MG contains an active ingredient called etizolam which belongs to a class of medicines known as benzodiazepine analogue called thienodiazepines. This medicine acts on the brain and nerve
s (central nervous system). It is a fast-acting tranquilliser that interferes with the natural state of certain neurotransmitters called GABA. Etizolam binds to these GABA receptors and enhances the GABA enhanced synaptic inhibition, and acts as a CNS depressant responsible for its calmness, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxing, and sedation effects.

How Does It Work?
Directions for Use
- Tablet Etilaam 0.25 mg is to be taken as prescribed by your physician.
- It can be taken orally with or without water, sublingually by keeping it below your tongue for faster medicine disintegration and an immediate mode of action. Do not chew or bite.
- Do not share your medicine with anyone.
- Contact your doctor if you are experiencing uncontrollable side effects with the pill.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Con-current use of etizolam and opioids can result in severe respiratory depression and sedation.
- Etizolam levels can be increased if taken with aprepitant, cannabinol, fluvoxamine, hydroxyzine, clofazimine, conivaptan, mifepristone, perampanel, stiripentol, teduglutide, etc.
- Etizolam effects can be decreased by theophylline, tocilizumab, deferasirox, sarilumab, mitotane, yohimbine, etc.
Interactions with food items
- You can continue with the usual diet. Tab. etizolam can be taken with or without food.
- Avoid alcohol when taking the Etilaam course. Taking alcohol with Etilaam can result in severe respiratory depression and slowed breathing.
