Esjoy Plus H Tablet

• According to CDSCO, Esjoy Plus H Tablet is used in comorbid depression and anxiety disorder, which means patients who suffer from depression and anxiety.

• Do not take Esjoy Plus H Tablet in the following cases:
• If you are allergic to Escitalopram, Clonazepam, other similar medicines, or any other components of the medicine
• If you are on treatment with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) like selegiline. There should be a gap of 14 days between these two medicines to avoid any interaction
• If you are on treatment with Pimozide, it may cause abnormal heart rate and rhythm
• If you are diagnosed with any liver or kidney disease
• If you have a history of narrow-angle glaucoma (raised eye pressure), as it may worsen your condition
• If you are below 18 years of age

• Esjoy Plus H tablet has the following side effects:
• Altered bowel (diarrhoea/constipation)
• Dry mouth
• Reduced appetite
• Drowsiness
• Joint pain
• Muscular pain
• Impaired memory
• Blurring of vision
• Confusion
• Abnormal heart rate

Other General Warnings

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You are below 18 years of age.
• You have diabetes. In diabetic patients, this medicine should be used with caution as there is the risk of altered blood sugar levels. Blood glucose monitoring and dose adjustment may be required.
• You are on any blood thinner medicines or have a history of bleeding disorders; you need to inform your doctor as this medicine may worsen the bleeding. You might need to change the medication or adjust the dosage.
• You have kidney disease as it may worsen the existing condition.
• You have self-harm and self-killing tendencies, especially linked to its prolonged use.
• You have changes in mood or behavioural changes. Esjoy Plus H Tablet is linked to habit-forming on prolonged use.

• Take Esjoy Plus H Tablet exactly as told by your doctor, in the right quantity for the right duration, as it is associated with habit-forming, dependence and withdrawal.
• Follow the directions of use as per the label on the medicine and as advised by your doctor.
• Take the medicine at the same time everyday, to avoid toxicity and undesirable side effects.
• Take the medicine with food or on an empty stomach.

Interactions with other medicines

• You should keep your doctor notified of every medicine you take for other purposes. Your doctor must rule out all possible interactions before starting Esjoy Plus H Tablet.
• Cimetidine, Lithium, CYP2C19 Inhibitors, Triptans, CYP450 inducers may lead to toxicity symptoms of Esjoy Plus H Tablet or render the medicine useless altogether.

Interactions with food items

• There is no information regarding food interactions with Esjoy Plus H Tablet; hence, you can take this tablet unless you find any symptoms. Avoid caffeinated drinks, as they have a somewhat opposite effect to this medicine.
