Empanorm LM tablet is a combination medicine used with diet and physical activity to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It contains empagliflozin, linagliptin and metformin, which work in different ways to lower excess blood sugar. Empagliflozin helps the kidneys pass more sugar into urine, linagliptin helps the body release insulin when blood sugar is high, and metformin reduces sugar production and improves the body's response to insulin. Empanorm LM tablets are taken by mouth under medical supervision and are not used for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
