Eliwel 25mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Eliwel 25 MG Description
Eliwel is a prescription medication. It contains the drug Amitriptyline, which belongs to a group of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. Apart from its use in the treatment of major depress
ive disorders, it is also commonly used to manage neuropathic pain and migraine in varying doses. Depression is a mood disorder resulting in hopelessness, helplessness, and worthlessness. It is thought to arise due to an imbalance in the brain, among several other causes. This imbalance could be due to a lower level of chemical substances in the brain called neurotransmitters. Amitriptyline acts on multiple brain pathways to increase levels of certain neurotransmitters, effectively decreasing the symptoms of depression. The medication should be taken as recommended by your treating physician. It is generally advisable to take the tablet at the same time every day as this ensures the best action of the medication, decreasing the chances of relapse of symptoms significantly. It is also recommended to complete the entire course of the medication as prescribed by the treating physician. Abruptly stopping this drug can cause worsening symptoms.
