Drotin 40 MG Description

Drotin tablet is an anti-spasmodic medicine, a medicine that helps in pain relief due to spasms. It is used to relieve stomach and abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and menstrual pain. It contains drotaverine as its active ingredient.

Spam or cramp occurs a is a result of involuntary or uncontrolled contraction of muscles causing pain and discomfort. Drotaverine acts by inhibiting the action of an enzyme, resulting in the relaxation of smooth muscle and the dilation of blood vessels. It provides relief from spasms and pain.

Some other tablets containing drotaverine are Baralgan D 40mg tablet, Dozee 40mg tablet, Doverin 40mg tablet, Dvn 40mg tablet, and Drotikind 40 Mg tablet. Drotin tablets should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Take it regularly at a fixed time. Do not skip a dose or consume more than that recommended by the doctor. Also, do not abruptly discontinue this medicine without first consulting your doctor.
