Drolute 10 MG Description
Drolute Tablet is used in the treatment of menstrual problems. It contains dydrogesterone, synthetic progesterone as the active ingredient. It is a hormonal pill. Drolute Tablet is used to treat a va
rious gynaecological and menstrual problems caused mainly due to low levels of progesterone hormone in the body. This medicine can be used alone or in combination with an estrogen. Drolute acts by replenishing the levels of progesterone in the body. Do not self medicate. Take this medicine as advised by your treating doctor, for the prescribed duration and at a specific dose.

Uses of Drolute 10 MG
Drolute Tablet is used to treat various menstrual and gynaecological disorders such as irregular menstrual bleeding, amenorrhoea, heavy menstrual bleeding, infertility, endometriosis (thickening of the uterus), etc....
Contraindications of Drolute 10 MG
- If you are allergic to dydrogesterone or any other ingredient present in the Drolute Tablet.
- If you have progesterone or hormone-dependent tumour.
- If you have irregular and abnormal vaginal bleeding, which is not yet diagnosed.
- If you have serious liver disorders.

- Headache
- Migraine
- Nausea
- Breast pain
- Heavy or irregular bleeding

Pregnancy

Mode of Action of Drolute 10 MG
How Does It Work?
Drolute Tablet works by acting on progesterone receptors in the uterus and regulates the normal process of shedding of the womb lining.
Directions for Use of Drolute 10 MG
- Take the Drolute Tablet as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It would be best if you take it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not take it more than that prescribed by the doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way the Drolute Tablet works or the Drolute Tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction. Also, you should inform your doctor if you have a planned surgery or vaccination scheduled....
- Especially, if you take medicines for treating fits, any infections, HIV infection, diabetes and herbal preparations like Hypericum perforatum, valerian root, sage or ginkgo Biloba.

Dosage of Drolute 10 MG
Overdose
The symptoms of an overdose are nausea, vomiting, lethargy and dizziness. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
Missed a Dose
If you have missed taking any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one....
