Dilzem-SR tablet is a blood pressure-lowering medicine. It contains diltiazem as the active ingredient. Dilzem-SR tablet is used for the treatment of high blood pressure and chest pain due to reduced

blood supply to the heart called angina Dilzem-SR tablet works by relaxing the blood vessels thereby decreasing the blood pressure. It also improves the blood supply to the heart muscles. High blood pressure and angina are critical health conditions that if not treated well may affect other organs of the body including the heart, blood vessels, kidneys, brain and may lead to medical conditions like heart attack, heart failure, vision loss, and kidney failure. Dilzem-SR tablet should be taken exactly as recommended by your doctor. It is important to take the medicine at the same time every day.
