Medical Description
Deucef S injection is a combination antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections when an injectable treatment is prescribed. It contains cefuroxime, which stops bacteria from building the protective covering they need to survive, and sulbactam, which blocks bacterial enzymes that can inactivate cefuroxime. Together, these ingredients help cefuroxime work against susceptible bacteria that may resist cefuroxime alone. The injection is given into a vein by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic and is not self-administered. The selected treatment depends on the infection and the medical assessment.
