Ingredients and Benefits
- Derma KT NF cream contains Clobetasol, Gentamicin, Ketoconazole and Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline.
- Clobetasol is a steroid, it blocks the production of certain chemical substances in the body (prostaglandins) which cause itching, swelling and redness.
- Gentamicin is an antibiotic and it inhibits the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing infection.
- Ketoconazole interferes with the cell membranes of fungi, thus stopping their growth and eventually causing its death.
- Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline (also called Clioquinol) reduces skin infections caused by bacteria. It inhibits certain enzymes involved in DNA synthesis of bacteria resulting in the death of bacteria. It is also effective against some fungal skin infections.
