Daxotel injection is an anticancer medication used to treat breast cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, and head and neck cancer. It may be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer medications. The active ingredient in this injection is docetaxel. Daxotel injection will be administered by a healthcare professional in a medical setting.
Daxotel injection can impact fertility in both men and women. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during and after treatment. Men should also use contraception and consider sperm preservation before treatment. Docetaxel can harm a developing fetus, so it should not be used during pregnancy. - You experience abnormal swellings due to excess accumulation of fluid in the body, pain, tingling, or burning in the hands and feet, skin rashes, etc. after taking the injection.
