Cremagel H cream is a combination medicine that contains lidocaine, metronidazole and sucralfate as an active ingredient. Cremagel H cream is used to treat piles, bedsore, anal fissures. Piles is a c
ondition characterised by swelling and inflammation around the rectal and anal region, whereas fissure is a small tear in the anal region. You may experience difficulty in passing the stools and bleeding from the affected region. This cream works by forming a protective coating on the affected area and prevents any infection, irritation, pain or burning sensation in the anus. Cremagel H cream is for external use only. Before and after applying this medicine, wash your hands and keep the affected area clean and dry. Avoid contact with your eyes. It should be used as prescribed by your doctor for the defined duration. If you experience skin irritation after applying this medicine talk to your doctor.

Mode of Action of Cremagel H Tube Of 20gm Cream
How Does It Work?
- Cremagel H cream contains a combination of lidocaine, metronidazole and sucralfate.
- Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic. It works by decreasing the pain sensation by blocking the nerves of pain signals to the brain.
- Metronidazole is an antibiotic, works by stopping the growth of any harmful bacteria (or parasites) in the anal region causing the infection.
- Sucralfate is a protective agent that forms a protective layer on the skin of the anal region which leads to wound healing and the formation of new healthy skin.
Directions for Use of Cremagel H Tube Of 20gm Cream
- Use this medicine as directed by your doctor.
- For external use only, apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
