Corbis D tablet is a fixed-dose combination medicine containing dapagliflozin and bisoprolol. It is prescribed for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with co-existing Heart Failure or Cardiovascular Risks, controlling blood sugar while reducing heart strain and improving heart function. This medicine helps control high blood sugar levels while also managing blood pressure and reducing strain on the heart. Corbis D tablet works through a dual mechanism of action. Dapagliflozin lowers blood sugar levels by inhibiting glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, allowing excess sugar to be eliminated through urine. Bisoprolol belongs to a class of medicines called beta-blockers and works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels.
