Uses
- Clotas 0.25mg Tab is used to treat the following symptoms:
- Prevention and control of seizures in epileptic patients
- Treatment of panic attacks
Contraindications
- Clotas 0.25mg Tab is contraindicated in the following cases:
- If you are allergic to clonazepam
- If you are allergic to benzodiazepines in general
- If you suffer from liver disease
- If you have been diagnosed with acute narrow-angle glaucoma
- If you ever had any kidney disorders
- If you suffer from lung diseases
Side effects
- Clotas 0.25mg side effects are mild and subside as soon as the body gets used to this medicine. The following side effects are noticed by some people taking Clotas 0.25mg:
- Giddiness
- Sleepiness
- Balance and coordination problems
- Headache
- Weight fluctuations
- Talk to your doctor if your side effects become worse.

Directions for Use
- Take Clotas 0.25mg as directed by your doctor. Your doctor will start with a mild dose of Clotas 0.25mg before increasing the dose gradually. This is done to lessen the side effects of Clotas 0.25mg.
- Take Clotas 0.25mg regularly to derive its full benefits.
- Do not increase or decrease your dose of Clotas 0.25mg without consulting your doctor.
- Swallow Clotas 0.25mg tablets whole with a glass of water.

Interactions with other medicines
- Clotas 0.25mg interacts with blood-pressure-lowering medicines like enalapril and lisinopril. Taking Clotas 0.25mg with enalapril and lisinopril can lower your blood pressure further. This can result in headaches, fainting, lightheadedness, giddiness and fluctuations in heart rate.
- Clotas 0.25mg interacts with antihistamines like chlorpheniramine and promethazine. Consuming Clotas 0.25mg with medicines like chlorpheniramine and promethazine can intensify side effects like giddiness, confusion, concentration difficulties and drowsiness.
- Clotas 0.25mg interacts with painkillers like codeine, methadone and morphine. Combining Clotas 0.25mg with codeine, methadone and morphine can cause serious side effects like respiratory problems, coma and death in some cases.
- Clotas 0.25mg interacts with medicine for stomach issues like cimetidine. Clotas 0.25mg when consumed with cimetidine intensifies or extends the effect of clonazepam.
- Clotas 0.25mg interacts with anti-anxiety medicines like alprazolam and escitalopram. If you take alprazolam or escitalopram while taking Clotas 0.25mg, there may be an increase in Clotas 0.25mg side effects like giddiness, confusion, concentration difficulties and drowsiness.
