Clocip 100mg Vag Tab has clotrimazole as an active ingredient and is an anti-fungal medicine used to treat vulvovaginal candidiasis (vaginal and vulvar yeast infections). It belongs to the group of medicines known as azoles.

Clocip 100mg Vag Tab use is mainly in the treatment of fungal infections in the vagina and vulva. It can also reduce other symptoms such as itching, burning, inflammation or dysuria.
Contraindications of Clocip 100mg Vag Tab
This medicine is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to clotrimazole or any other components that are present in it.

How Does It Work?
Clocip 100mg Vag Tab compositions binds to the phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and stops some vital processes that are necessary for cell membrane production. Thus, it helps by altering the cell membrane permeability, thereby inhibiting fungal growth.
Directions for Use of Clocip 100mg Vag Tab
Use the medicine as instructed by your doctor. Place it as high as possible into the vagina, preferably at night before going to bed. Do not swallow or put it in your mouth. It is better to avoid this medicine during menstruation.
Interactions of Clocip 100mg Vag Tab
Interactions with other medicines
Refrain from using oral tacrolimus or sirolimus (immunosuppressive medicines used to reduce the rejection rate after an organ transplant) and Clocip 100mg Vag Tab simultaneously as it can increase tacrolimus or sirolimus levels in the blood. Do inform your doctor if you are taking these medicines.
