Cetanil Tm 50mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Medical Description
Cetanil Tm tablet is a combination of three antihypertensive medications: Metoprolol, chlorthalidone, and Telmisartan. It is prescribed when a single medication is inadequate for managing high blood pressure. Cetanil Tm tablet relaxes blood vessels and reduces fluid retention by increasing urinary output. Metoprolol slows the heart rate and lowers blood pressure. Angiotensin II, a naturally occurring substance that narrows blood vessels and raises blood pressure, is inhibited by Cetanil Tm tablet. This inhibition allows blood vessels to relax, further contributing to lowered blood pressure.
Cetanil Tm tablet should be taken precisely as instructed by your doctor. Avoid missing any doses or discontinuing Cetanil Tm tablet without your doctor's advice. High blood pressure is a serious health condition that, if not effectively treated, can lead to various complications and impact other parts of the body, such as the brain, heart, blood vessels, and kidneys. Therefore, in addition to taking your medications on time, it is recommended that you also adopt certain lifestyle modifications. Some of these changes include following a diet low in fat and salt, maintaining a healthy weight, engaging in thirty minutes of exercise each day, quitting smoking, and limiting alcohol consumption.
