Cerazette Strip Of 28 Tablets
Cerazette 0.075 MG Description
Cerazette Tablet is a progestogen-only birth control pill that contains the hormone desogestrel. It is used to prevent pregnancy in women.
Cerazette Tablet is not recommended for women who are allergic to desogestrel, have blood clots, have or suspect they have breast cancer, have unusual vaginal bleeding, have had a pulmonary embolism, have jaundice (yellowing of the skin), have severe liver disease, are pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant.
Cerazette Tablet should be used with caution in adolescent girls (aged 12-19 years), elderly women (aged 50 years and above), and women with diabetes, epilepsy, tuberculosis, high blood pressure, chloasma (yellowish-brown pigmentation patches on the skin, particularly of the face), or kidney problems.
The most common side effects of Cerazette Tablet are mood changes, depressed mood, decreased sexual drive, headache, nausea, breast pain, and irregular or absent menstruation. If any of these side effects are severe or do not go away, talk to your doctor.

Contraindications of Cerazette 0.075 MG
- Cerazette Tablet should not be taken by women who have:
- A blood clot in a vein (active venous thromboembolic disorder)
- Severe liver disease that is not yet under control
- Cancer that is sensitive to sex hormones (known or suspected sex-steroid-sensitive malignancies)
- Vaginal bleeding that has not been diagnosed
- An allergy to desogestrel or any of the other ingredients in the Cerazette Tablet
