Constipation
Headache, dizziness

Pregnancy

Can I take Canzap 200mg Strip Of 10 Capsules during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, it is not safe to take this medicine. Your doctor will tell you about the use of this medicine after assessing the benefits over risks. Doctor's consultation is necessary.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Canzap 200mg Strip Of 10 Capsules while breastfeeding?

It is not safe to breastfeed during the treatment. The medicine may pass into breastmilk and harm the baby. It is advised to consult a doctor.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Canzap 200mg Strip Of 10 Capsules?

It can cause dizziness, blurred vision or hearing loss. Do not drive if you observe such symptoms.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Canzap 200mg Strip Of 10 Capsules?

It does not cause any harmful side effects if taken along with the medicine.

Mode of Action of Canzap 200 MG

How Does It Work?

It inhibits the production of ergosterol which is the main component of the cell membrane of the fungus. Hence stops the growth of fungus and inhibits the fungal infection.

Directions for Use of Canzap 200 MG

Do not break, chew or crush the capsule. Swallow it as a whole.

Interactions of Canzap 200 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Medicines used to treat acidity (Antacids) like ranitidine, cimetidine or omeprazole (avoid atleast till two hours after taking itraconazole medicine)
Medicines used in high cholesterol treatment (HMG Co-A reductase inhibitors like atorvastatin, simvastatin, rosuvastatin, pravastatin)
Medicines used to treat GI tract motility (Cisapride)
Midazolam, triazolam
Medicines used to treat blood clots (Anticoagulants like warfarin or dabigatran)
Medicines used to treat heart problems (Digoxin, Calcium channel blockers)
Medicines used to treat blood disorders, severe allergic reactions (Methyl prednisolone)
If you are using medicines like ciclosporin, tacrolimus which are used after organ transplant
Medicines used to treat cancer (Vinca alkaloids, Quinidine)
Medicines used to treat diabetes (sulphonylurea medicines like tolbutamide, glibenclamide, gliclazide, glipizide)
Medicines used to treat tuberculosis like rifampicin, isoniazid
Medicines used to treat epilepsy like phenytoin
Medicines used to treat seizures like carbamazepine
