How does this medicine work?

Calcium citrate supplies calcium for bones, teeth, muscles and nerve signals. Calcitriol and vitamin D3 help the body absorb and use calcium. Magnesium supports muscle and nerve function, while vitamin B12 supports normal nerve function and blood-cell formation. Zinc, copper, manganese, boron and silicon add mineral components to the combination.

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Bonex Forte tablet works. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, vitamins and supplements you take. In particular, calcium and other minerals can lower absorption of thyroid medicines, some antibiotics, iron and medicines for bone loss; calcitriol may increase calcium effects with thiazide water tablets and raise heart-rhythm risk with digoxin.
