Medical Description
Bioderm Ointment is a topical medication used to treat various skin conditions like itching, allergies, redness, and inflammation caused by bacterial or fungal infections. It is also effective against ringworm, athlete's foot, and tinea infections. The medication contains three active ingredients: beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and neomycin. It is essential to use Bioderm Ointment as per your doctor's instructions to get the best results.
Fungal infections are caused by a fungus found on plants, dirt, and household surfaces. Contact with this fungus can cause skin diseases that lead to symptoms like irritation, scaly skin, itching, and swelling. However, Bioderm Ointment is not suitable for patients with acne, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, viral and fungal infections, or varicose ulcers caused by swollen veins. Before using Bioderm Ointment, inform your doctor if you smoke, have psoriasis, or have had an allergic reaction to any substance.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should use Bioderm Ointment with caution. It is not recommended for children under the age of one year and should be used carefully in children and adolescents (ages two to eighteen) after consulting a doctor.
