• If you are allergic to bimatoprost, timolol or any of the component Bimat T Eye Drop.
• If you have a lung condition such as asthma, chronic lung disease (which may cause difficulty in breathing or chronic cough).
• If you have heart disease such as heart blockage, heart failure, decreased heart rate.

Other General Warnings

• You have any heart disease or condition such as decreased heart rate and blood pressure.
• You have lung conditions such as difficulty in breathing or asthma.
• You have a blood circulation disorder.
• You have hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid), low blood sugar, liver or kidney disease.
• You experience any allergic reaction or side effect after using Eye Drops.
• You had eye surgery recently.
• Avoid the use of contact lenses.
• Bimat T Eye Drop should not be used in children below 18 years of age.

• Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor.
• Follow directions carefully and do not miss doses.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
• Close your eyes for 2-3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.
• Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper and it must be kept clean.
• Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.

Overdose

• As Bimat T Eye Drop are meant for external application cases of overdose is unlikely. However, upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

How Does It Work?

• Bimat T Eye Drop contain timolol and bimatoprost. They work by decreasing the raised intraocular (inside the eye).
• Bimatoprost increases the outflow of aqueous fluid within the eye, thus reducing the pressure within the eye.
• Timolol acts by decreasing the aqueous humour (transparent water-like fluid) production within the eye thereby lowering the fluid pressure built up within your eye.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Bimat T Eye Drop works, or Bimat T Eye Drop can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• In particular, if you are taking medicines to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, high/abnormal cholesterol levels, blood thinners, anti-infectives, anti-diabetics, anti-asthmatics, pain killers, immunomodulatory medicines or medicines for the brain-related disorder.
