Medical Description

Beta Anxit 20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and Propranolol that is used to treat anxiety. It is also used to manage panic disorder, migraine, and stress. This medication is used to treat anxiety, marked by tense feelings, concerning thoughts, and physical changes such as elevated blood pressure. The symptoms include restlessness, difficulty sleeping, sweating of hands and feet. This medication is useful in treating panic attacks, characterised by abrupt, intense fear, breathing problems, chest discomfort, and other symptoms. It works by increasing the activity of Gamma-Aminobutyric acid, a chemical messenger in the brain that inhibits abnormal and excessive nerve cell activity. Propranolol is an antihypertensive (reduces blood pressure) that inhibits the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces the heart rate, blood pressure, and stress on the heart. Some side effects of Beta Anxit 20 mg may occur, including difficulty in breathing, weight gain, loss of coordination, drowsiness, skin rashes, headache, nausea, and indigestion. If these adverse effects persist, consult the doctor.
