Too much may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, rash or changes in urine. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

How does this medicine work?

Amoxicillin prevents bacteria from building the protective cell wall they need to survive. Clavulanic acid blocks bacterial beta-lactamase enzymes that can break down amoxicillin. Together, they help the antibiotic work against susceptible bacteria that produce these enzymes.
