Medical Description

Ascoril LS Syrup is a medicine used to treat coughs with mucus. It works by making the mucus in your nose, windpipe, and lungs thinner, making it easier to cough up. It also helps with symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.

Tell your doctor about any other medicines you’re taking because some might not mix well with Ascoril LS Syrup. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, muscle cramps, headache, skin rash, and a fast heartbeat. These side effects usually go away after a while. If they bother you or don’t go away, call your doctor.

Ascoril LS Syrup can make you feel sleepy, so don’t drive or use machines until you know how it affects you. Also, don’t drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can make the sleepiness worse.

Never take this medicine on your own or suggest it to someone else. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Ascoril LS Syrup. Before you start taking it, tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Also, let your doctor know if you have any kidney or liver problems so they can give you the right dose.
