Other General Warnings
- You have suicidal thoughts as this medicine might further increase suicidal tendencies.
- You are elderly with dementia have an increased risk of dying if they are on treatment with Aripiprazole.
- You have severe renal impairment, dose adjustment is required.
- You have low blood pressure, which can further lower blood pressure, resulting in falls.
- It can lower your white blood count and increase your susceptibility to infections, so keep your blood counts under monitoring.
- Avoid suddenly getting up from lying down or sitting, or you may feel dizzy.
- Patients treated for attention deficit hyperkinetic disorder need a close watch if they are concomitantly treated with Aripiprazole.
- Many preparations of Aripiprazole contain lactose, so it must be used with caution in patients with lactose intolerance.
- You should never stop its use suddenly.
Directions for Use
- Take this tablet as per the doctor’s advice.
- You can take Arip Mt with or without food with a glass of water.
- Swallow it like a regular tablet without crushing if it is in tablet form.
- If in a liquid formulation, use a dosing syringe to take the correct dose.
- Children less than 13 years must not be given this medication.

- Metoclopramide (the risk or severity of side effects of Aripiprazole increases)
- Ketoconazole
- Itraconazole
- Fluoxetine (leads to a syndrome called serotonin syndrome, which is a life-threatening condition characterized by neuromuscular hyperactivity, autonomic hyperactivity etc.)
- Quinine
- Carbamazepine
- Paroxetine
- Amphetamines
- Lithium
