Interactions with other medicines
- When Apresol is administered shortly after diazoxide, it may give rise to hypotension
- MAO inhibitors should be cautiously used in people taking Apresol
- When used with oestrogens or NSAIDs, it shows blood pressure lowering effect
- Apresol with beta blockers may increase their blood levels
- Administration of other antihypertensives, anaesthetics, tricyclic antidepressants, tranquillisers, nitrates or other medicines exerting central depressant actions with Apresol may increase their blood levels
