Uses
- Aprenext Tablet is used to treat psoriatic arthritis (It is a type of arthritis that affects some people who have psoriasis, symptoms include red patches and scaly skin).
- It is also useful in treating moderate to severe skin conditions (chronic plaque psoriasis).
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to apremilast or any other ingredient of Aprenext Tablet.
- If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.

- Aprenext Tablet is not recommended for patients below the age of 17 years.

- Aprenext Tablet is not recommended with medicines such as rifampicin to treat tuberculosis, phenytoin, phenobarbital and carbamazepine to treat fits or epilepsy, St John’s Wort herbal medicine for psychiatric illness.
- Some medicines can affect the way Aprenext Tablet works or Aprenext Tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
