- Patients should not take Anxipan with any heart, thyroid, visual, liver, or kidney disorder without a doctor’s supervision.
- Be regular with the dose; Anxipan cannot be discontinued without a doctor's recommendation.
- Anxipan is not advised for children under 18 years.
- It is of utmost importance to inform the doctor if you take any medicine, vitamins or supplements regularly, even if the supplement is herbal, ayurvedic or anything under the sun.
Directions for Use
- Anxipan Capsule should be consumed only with the doctor’s recommendation. Anxipan is generally taken for a longer time regularly.
- Anxipan can be taken with or without food. Always try to maintain and stick to the schedule. Have an Anxipan capsule at the same time every day.
- Do not discontinue taking Anxipan without talking to your doctor.
- Anxipan capsule has to be swallowed whole orally with a glass of water. The capsule cannot be distorted in any form and should not be crushed or broken.

Interactions with other medicines
- Anxipan interacts with
- MAO Inhibitors like selegiline- One needs to inform the doctor if taking this medication causes severe side effects.
- Blood thinners- can cause bleeding/ bruises.
- You need to inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines such as:
- Anticholinergic medicines like belladonna can increase drowsiness
- Anticonvulsants, Anti-anxiety medicines like alprazolam and Anti-allergic medicines like cetirizine can increase the potential of drowsiness and dizziness.
- Opioid analgesic and Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) also increase the potential of side effects if taken with Anxipan.
- Antifungal medicines like fluconazole can increase the risk of toxicity.
- Cimetidine interferes with the metabolism and the mechanism to get rid of Anxipan.
Interactions with food items
- Food does not interfere with absorption of Anxipan Capsule, and hence it can be taken with or without food.
