Amitop M Tablet is used for the treatment of various psychological/neurological conditions and neuropathic/nerve pain. It consists of amitriptyline and vitamin B12 as its main ingredients. It is an a

ntidepressant medication. Endogenous depression and other mood disorders cause persistent sadness, anger, loss of interest, etc. Neuropathic pain is a chronic condition caused by some nerve disease in most cases. It can also be because of an injury or an infection. Managing eating disorders, post-herpetic neuralgia (the burning, stabbing pains, or aches that may last for months or years after a herpes infection), and preventing migraine headaches are some other uses of Amitop M Tablet. The dosage of Amitop M Tablet must be carefully monitored. Try to take it exactly as directed by the doctor. Do not stop using it suddenly or skip doses, as it can cause withdrawal symptoms like irritability, sleep problems, fatigue, etc. Amitop M Tablet should be tapered slowly to avoid these effects.

Contraindications of Amitop M 5 Mg Tablet 10

If you have any allergic reaction to amitriptyline, then avoid taking Amitop M Tablet
If you are currently using other antidepressant medications
If you regularly consume alcohol
If you are diagnosed with manic depression
If you are suffering from alcohol addiction
If you have wide-angle or closed-angle glaucoma, an eye condition that increases fluid pressure in the eye.
If you have a serious heart condition like heart rhythm disorder
If you have a seizure disorder (fits)
If you have paralysis of the intestines (paralytic ileus)
If you have any severe liver problems
If you cannot empty your bladder
