Medical Description

Alzolam 0.25 mg tablet is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. The active ingredient is alprazolam which is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic disorders (sudden, unanticipated attacks of intense worry and fear about these attacks). Alzolam 0.25 mg may be habit-forming; hence it should not be taken in a larger dose, taken more often than prescribed, or for a longer time than the doctor tells you to. Stopping Alzolam 0.25 mg abruptly can worsen your condition, and might yield withdrawal symptoms that could prevail for several weeks to more than 12 months. Sudden discontinuation of the medicine could result in uncommon movements, tingling in ears, memory problems, anxiety, problem concentrating, sleep issues, seizures, shuddering, muscle twitching, depression, burning or prickling feeling in hands, arms, legs or feet, being more active or talkative, sudden and severe changes in mood or behaviour, confusion, hallucinations, or thoughts about suicide.
