Alprax Sr 0.5 MG Description

Alprax Sr Tablet is a prescription medication that is used for the treatment of anxiety, panic disorders and anxiety related to depression. Anxiety or panic attacks occur due to overexcitation of the

neurons (fundamental unit of the brain and nervous system). Alprax Sr Tab reduce the feelings of worry and nervousness in patients with anxiety. It further produces a feeling of relaxation, calmness and induces sleep. Alprax Sr Tablet contains Alprazolam as their active ingredient. Alprazolam belongs to a specific class of medicines called benzodiazepines. This class of drugs works by balancing the chemical substances in the brain that slows down the brain activity and relaxes the overworked nervous system. Alprax Sr Tablet should be taken in dosage and duration as advised by your doctor. There are also many side effects associated with this medicine, so it is advised to take it after the doctor’s consultation and dosage must be carefully monitored. Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it can cause clinical worsening of your condition or may lead to withdrawal symptoms.
