• If you are allergic to Prednisolone, Gatifloxacin or any of the other ingredients of Akrogat P Eye Drops.
• If you are suffering from any infections (like fungal, viral, mycobacterial) of the eye.

• Irritation, itching, redness, dryness, discomfort, watering in the eyes.
• Blurred vision
• Headache (uncommon)

Other General Warnings

• You have any other eye problems like corneal damage, dry eye syndrome, vision or sight disturbances, etc.
• You need to avoid wearing contact lenses after eye surgery.
• You experience irritation, pain, redness of the eye and changes in vision occur or your condition worsens after using Akrogat P Eye Drops, immediately contact your doctor.
• Do not use this medicine for any other condition than that prescribed by the doctor.
• Do not use this medicine for a prolonged duration, use it as directed by the doctor.

• Use Akrogat P Eye Drops as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.
• Follow all the directions carefully and do not miss any doses.
• Read the instructions on the label before usage.
• Shake well before use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
• Use the exact number of drops recommended.
• After instilling the drops, close your eyes for 2-3 minutes; do not blink or squeeze.
• Avoid touching your eyes with the dropper, it must be kept clean.
• Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a napkin or tissue.
• If you are prescribed any other eye drops, you need to keep an interval of at least 5 to 10 minutes between both the drops.

• Store Akrogat P Eye Drops below 30°C in a clean and dry place.
• Keep the medicine away from children and pets.
• You must not use the eye drops once the expiry date has passed and discard the container properly.
• You need to discard the medicine 4 weeks from first opening it.
• Do not use the eye drops if you notice the contents are of a different colour in any way or if particles are present.

• Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thus stopping the growth of bacteria.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Akrogat P Eye Drops works, or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Medicines like clarithromycin, erythromycin, diltiazem, itraconazole, ketoconazole, ritonavir, verapamil should be used with caution along with Akrogat P Eye Drops.
• If you use another eye drop product concomitantly with Akrogat P Eye Drops, keep a minimum gap of 15 minutes between the application of both medicines.
