Medical Description

Akrogat P Eye Drop contains a combination of Gatifloxacin and Prednisolone. It is used in reducing post-operative eye conditions such as pain, redness, swelling, etc where a risk of bacterial infection exists. You need to use this medicine as advised by the doctor. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid wearing contact lenses & being in the sunlight for a too long while on treatment. Before using Akrogat P Eye Drops, please discuss with your doctor if you have any other eye conditions.

Uses

Akrogat P Eye Drop is used to reduce post-operative eye conditions such as pain, redness and swelling, where the risk of bacterial infection is high.

Contraindications

  • If you are allergic to Prednisolone, Gatifloxacin or any of the other ingredients of Akrogat P Eye Drops.
  • If you are suffering from any infections (like fungal, viral, mycobacterial) of the eye.

Side effects

  • Irritation, itching, redness, dryness, discomfort, watering in the eyes.
  • Blurred vision
  • Headache (uncommon)

  • Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a napkin or tissue.
