Ajaduo 10mg/5mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Ajaduo 10mg/5mg Strip Of 10 Tablets Description
Ajaduo Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication, used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a condition in which your pancreas does not make enough insulin to control blood sug
ar levels and your body is also unable to efficiently use its own insulin. This causes high blood sugar levels in your body, which can further lead to other health consequences like heart disease, kidney disease, blindness and decreased blood flow in your hands and legs. Ajaduo Tablet is a combination of two active substances- empagliflozin and linagliptin. These medicines work together to lower the raised blood sugar levels by improving insulin release. The excess sugar is excreated via urine. Take this medicine exactly as recommended by your doctor. It is important that you exercise regularly and have a balanced diet while taking Ajaduo Tablets for adequate control of your blood sugar levels.

Mode of Action of Ajaduo 10mg/5mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
How Does It Work?
- Empagliflozin blocks a certain protein in the kidneys called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT-2) and prevents the reabsorption of glucose (sugar) by the kidneys. This causes the removal of blood sugar through the urine....
- Linagliptin acts by blocking another protein called dipeptidyl-peptidase 4 (DPP-4). This causes the pancreas to produce more insulin when blood sugar levels are high, like after a meal. As a result, Ajaduo lowers your blood sugar levels and keeps them adequately controlled....
