Medical Description
Affotel CT 40/12.5 tablet is a combination medicine used to treat high blood pressure. It contains telmisartan, which relaxes blood vessels by blocking a natural hormone that makes them tighten, and chlorthalidone, a diuretic that removes extra salt and water through urine. Together, these actions lower pressure inside the blood vessels and reduce the work required of the heart. Affotel CT 40/12.5 tablet is swallowed whole with water, may be taken with or without food, and should be used regularly as prescribed.
