Aerodil-DX syrup is used to provide symptomatic relief from the dry cough caused by throat irritation and allergic symptoms such as sneezing and a running nose. It contains two active components name
ly, chlorpheniramine and dextromethorphan. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic medicine, whereas dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. You should avoid taking this syrup along with medicines used to treat your psychiatric illness, as it may worsen your condition. Take the Aerodil-DX syrup as directed by the doctor and in the correct doses and for the exact duration as prescribed. You can take the Aerodil-DX syrup with or without food. Shake the bottle well before each use.
