Actrapid Hm 100 IU/ML Description

Actrapid HM 100IU/ml Penfill contains human insulin, which is a short-acting insulin. It is an anti-diabetic medicine belonging to the insulin group of medicine. Actrapid HM 100IU/ml Penfill is used

to lower blood glucose levels in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. You should take Actrapid HM 100IU/ml Penfill at least 15-20 minutes before or within 20 minutes of starting the meal always. Never skip a meal or the dose of insulin. Take small but frequent meals to maintain blood sugar levels. Do not take insulin on the same site for a longer duration. While on Actrapid HM 100IU/ml Penfill, you should keep sugar candy or glucose handy as it has decreased blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia) as a common side effect. However, if you experience these symptoms quite often, contact your doctor; he might change the dose of this medicine.
