Medical Description

Acimol tablet is a pain and fever-reducing medicine. It contains a combination of aceclofenac and paracetamol as active substances. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and spondylitis. It is also used to provide relief from muscle pain, back pain, toothache, pain in the ear, throat and abdominal pain.

Acimol tablet blocks the pain signal in the brain. Do not take this medicine for a longer duration or more than that prescribed. Take this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach. Before using Acimol tablet, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.

Contraindications of ACIMOL STRIP OF 10 TABLETS

If you are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol or any other ingredients of Acimol tablet.
If you have a history of asthma, skin rashes, swelling & nasal congestion after taking aspirin, ibuprofen.
If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers or bleeding.
If you have severe heart problems like heart failure, high blood pressure.
If you have severe liver or kidney disorders.
If you are pregnant especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Can I take Acimol tablet during pregnancy?

Taking this medicine especially during 3rd trimester of pregnancy can delay the delivery at the term or increase the risk of bleeding. Consult your doctor before taking any medicine during pregnancy.

Can I take Acimol tablet while breastfeeding?

It is advised not to use Acimol tablet if you are breastfeeding, unless advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are a nursing mother.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Acimol tablet?

It is advised not to drive or use machines when you have taken Acimol tablet as it may cause dizziness.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Acimol tablet?

It is advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol during the treatment with Acimol tablet as it may worsen your liver problems. Contact your doctor or pharmacist for further information.
