• If your child is allergic to levocetirizine, cetirizine, montelukast, or any other ingredient of Montair LC Kid dispersible tablets.
• If your child has kidney problems or is undergoing dialysis.
• If your child is unable to digest lactose and glucose (galactose intolerance).

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Drowsiness
• Nausea
• Diarrhoea

Other General Warnings

• Your child is taking medicines for allergies like prednisone and prednisolone (corticosteroids).
• Your child is already taking painkillers like aspirin.
• Your child experiences a rash or difficulty breathing after taking this medicine.
• Your child is suffering from a psychiatric illness.
• Your child is suffering from a genetic disorder called phenylketonuria.
• Your child is not able to empty the bladder completely.
• This medicine can cause anxiety, aggression, lack of sleep, and suicidal thoughts. In case your child experiences any of these, immediately inform your doctor.
• Montair LC Kid dispersible tablets are not meant for relief from acute asthma. Use your inhaler for asthma relief in an acute attack.

• Montair LC Kid dispersible tablets should be given exactly as instructed by your doctor.
• Disperse the tablet into a sufficient quantity of water immediately before administration.
• Do not give more than the prescribed dose.

• Store Montair LC Kid dispersible tablets below 30°C, protected from light and moisture.
• Keep it away from the reach of children and pets.

• Give the tablet with water, preferably in the evening or as directed by the doctor.
• Stick to the prescribed dose and duration; do not skip or double the dose.
• Do not give it if your child is allergic to montelukast or levocetirizine.
• The medicine may cause drowsiness in some children; therefore, it is recommended to give it at bedtime if advised.
• Inform your doctor about all other medicines or supplements your child is taking.
• Use only in children as prescribed; do not share this medicine with others.
• Consult a doctor immediately if you notice any unusual side effects, such as a rash, breathing difficulty, or severe stomach pain.

Overdose

• An overdose of Montair LC Kid dispersible tablets may cause drowsiness, aggression, restlessness, thirst, and headache.
• If you think you have given too much of this medicine to your child, contact your doctor immediately or visit your nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

• If you have missed giving any dose of Montair LC Kid dispersible tablet to your child, give it as soon as you remember.
• If it's time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dosing schedule.
• Do not give a double dose of this medicine to compensate for the missed one.

How Does It Work?

• Montair LC Kid dispersible tablet contains a combination of montelukast and levocetirizine as active ingredients.
• Montelukast blocks certain natural substances called leukotrienes which cause allergies. It acts by reducing swelling, relaxing airways, and helping to make breathing easier.
• Levocetirizine blocks a natural substance called histamine, which is produced by the body during allergic reactions.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way the Montair LC Kid dispersible tablets works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals your child is currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Particular care should be taken if your child is taking medicines used to treat psychotic disorders, medicines used to treat fits/seizures such as phenytoin, and antiviral medicine such as ritonavir.

Interactions with food items

• Can be taken with or without food; food does not significantly affect its action.
• Avoid giving with alcohol-containing foods or drinks, as it may increase drowsiness.
• Do not take it with grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as it may interfere with the metabolism of certain medications.
• Maintain a balanced diet to support your child’s overall immunity and recovery.
• Encourage plenty of fluids and light, healthy meals to reduce allergy-related discomfort.
