Molecule Description
Vilanterol+Fluticasone Furoate is a combination medication that contains vilanterol and fluticasone as its active ingredients. Vilanterol+Fluticasone Furoate helps to open the airways in the lungs, making breathing easier. It works by acting on specific receptors in the smooth muscles of the airways. Vilanterol+Fluticasone Furoate is commonly used by adults with asthma. It aids in improving breathing, alleviating symptoms, and reducing the likelihood of asthma attacks. Vilanterol+Fluticasone Furoate contains an inhaled corticosteroid. This type of medication is used in treating asthma as it helps reduce inflammation and sensitivity in the airways. Regular use can improve symptoms and lung function.
Vilanterol+Fluticasone Furoate is for inhalation use only. It should be taken at the same time every day. If stored in a refrigerator, the inhaler must be allowed to return to room temperature for at least an hour before use. The step-by-step instructions on the label must be followed. After inhalation, patients should rinse their mouths with water without swallowing.
