Nevirapine is ‘Non-Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor’ type of antiretroviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV 1) infection.

Taking this medicine may lead to the cause of decreased alertness or sleepiness. Therefore avoid driving when on this medication.

Alcohol

Taking alcohol may lead to dizziness or a spinning sensation. Avoid alcohol when on this medication.
