Contraindications

You have allergic reaction to Iron injection
You have low haemoglobin count not due to iron shortage
You have iron excess in body

Pregnancy

It is safe using the medicine during pregnancy as it does not cause any adverse effect in unborn baby.

Breast Feeding

It is probably safe using this medicine during breastfeeding as it does not cause any adverse effects in breastfed baby. Consult with your doctor before starting this medicine.

Driving

This medicine can cause dizziness, confusion or light headedness. Do not drive in such situation.

Treatment with Iron sucrose can decrease the absorption of oral iron medicines or cause other side effects such as iron overload. Inform your physician, specifically if you are taking any iron supplements such as ferrous fumarate, ferrous gluconate, ferrous sulfate etc.
