- Darifenacin should not be taken if you have:
- Allergy to Darifenacin
- Urinary obstruction
- Elevated pressure in the eye (narrow-angle glaucoma)
- Blockage to clear bowel (constipation)
- Swelling and infection of the intestine (severe ulcerative colitis or toxic megacolon)
- Disorder of the nervous system that causes muscle weakness (Myasthenia Gravis)
- Liver disease

Can I take Darifenacin during pregnancy?
It is unknown if Darifenacin is harmful to the unborn child. It is better to consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy before you start this medicine.
Can I take Darifenacin while breastfeeding?
If you are a breastfeeding mother, you must use this medicine with caution as it may pass into breast milk. Talk to your doctor and discuss the same.
Can I drive if I have consumed Darifenacin?
Taking this medicine may make you feel weak, tremor, sleepiness or fit. Do not drive if this happens to you.
Can I consume alcohol with Darifenacin?
Taking alcohol with this medicine may lead to cause more weakness or sleepiness.

Taking this medicine may make you sweat less or sometimes make you more likely to get heatstroke. Whenever the weather is warm, you should drink plenty of fluids and should dress lightly. In case if your body overheats, quickly look for a place by which your body can cool down and take a rest.

- Drugs to treat depression such as Amitriptyline (Elavil), Amoxapine (Asendin), Clomipramine (Anafranil), etc.
- Drugs(antibiotics, antiviral, anti-fungal, etc.) to treat infections
Interactions with food items
Avoid the consumption of grape juice with this medication, as it may increase the amount of medicine in the blood.
Dosage of Darifenacin
Overdose can cause vision problems. Seek emergency medical help immediately.
Missed a Dose
If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
