Ziltax Ct Tablet is an antihypertensive medication that is used to treat high blood pressure. It contains azilsartan and chlorthalidone as its active ingredient. It is used to treat high blood pressu

For the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), when blood pressure cannot be controlled by azilsartan or chlorthalidone alone.

How Does It Work?

A hormone called angiotensin is responsible for the narrowing of blood vessels and rise in blood pressure. Azilsartan lowers blood pressure by blocking the action of angiotensin.
Chlorthalidone acts by increasing the loss of water and salt from the body, thus resulting in increased production of urine, thereby lowering the blood pressure.
