XO Flu and Cold suspension is used for common cold symptoms such as fever, body aches, a blocked or runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes and thick mucus. It contains a combination of paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, chlorpheniramine and sodium citrate. Paracetamol reduces fever and pain, phenylephrine eases nasal swelling, chlorpheniramine reduces runny nose and sneezing, and sodium citrate loosens mucus. XO Flu and Cold suspension is taken by mouth after shaking and measuring the liquid with the supplied cup, as directed by a doctor.
