Volitra APS skin solution contains diclofenac. It is a pain killer that is to be applied to the skin. It helps to reduce pain and swelling associated with sprains and strains. It can also be used for
the reduction of the pain in joints due to Arthritis. This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Itching and rashes at the site application can be experienced when this medicine is applied. If you experience any severe skin reaction after using this medicine, contact your director immediately.

Uses of Volitra Aps Sol 30ml
For local application on skin to ease symptoms of pain, swelling and inflammation in muscles, ligaments, joints and tendons due to sprain, strain, bruises, fracture or sports injury. It is also used for relieving symptoms of pain and swelling in osteoarthritis....
Contraindications of Volitra Aps Sol 30ml
- If you are allergic to this medicine, ingredients of it or similar painkiller medicines like aspirin, indomethacin, celecoxib, ibuprofen.
- If you have experienced an episode of allergic reaction upon painkiller use like asthma, skin rashes, swelling & nasal congestion.
- If you are taking any other pain killer or medicine containing diclofenac.
- If you are pregnant especially if it's your third trimester of pregnancy.
- This medicine is not to be used for children below 14 years of age.

Pregnancy

It is advised not to use this medicine during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester as it may harm the foetus. The doctor may give you this medicine in the first 6 months of pregnancy for a short duration and a low dose if required.
Breast Feeding

This medicine should be used under medical supervision. It should not be applied to the breast of a breastfeeding mother or elsewhere on large areas of skin or for a prolonged period.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol when I apply the Volitra APS skin solution?

There is no direct interaction between alcohol and Volitra APS skin solution gel. However, alcohol is known to worsen infection and inflammation; it's better to avoid consuming alcohol when you have been prescribed this medicine.

- You may experience side effects if you are using it in large areas and for a prolonged time.
- You may experience skin reactions at the beginning of the treatment; your doctor may ask you to discontinue the treatment.
- You are already taking painkillers as concomitant use of this medicine may increase the risk of systemic side effects.
- You should not apply this on infected skin, cuts, open injuries or wounds and it should not be ingested.
- You should avoid sunlight exposure to the application area.

How Does It Work?
This medicine is to be applied locally at the site of injury. It contains diclofenac which acts by interfering with the production of a chemical called prostaglandin which is responsible for swelling, pain and inflammation. It inhibits prostaglandin thereby reducing all the pain and inflammation....
Directions for Use of Volitra Aps Sol 30ml
- Use this medicine as directed by your doctor.
- For external use only, apply it on a healthy skin surface free from cuts and wounds.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
