• If you are allergic to vericiguat or any other ingredients in this medicine.
• If you are taking any medicine that contains another soluble guanylate cyclase stimulator (e.g., riociguat, which is used to treat high blood pressure in the lungs).
• If you have low blood pressure with symptoms such as dizziness or light-headedness.
• If you have severe kidney problems, you are on dialysis.
• If you have severe liver problems.

• Low blood pressure (hypotension)
• Low number of red blood cells (anaemia), pale skin, weakness, breathlessness
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Nausea and vomiting
• Indigestion
• Heartburn

Other General Warnings

• You have low blood pressure.
• You are pregnant or breast feeding.
• You are on medicines used to treat heart disease including chest pain, called nitrates (e.g. isosorbide mononitrate).

• Verquvo tablet should be taken as a whole with sufficient amount of water, with or after food.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• You should not consume more than that prescribed by your doctor.

• Keep this medicine out of children's sight and reach.
• This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.

Interactions with other medicines

• Inform your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken, or may take any other medicines, especially soluble guanylate cyclase stimulators (e.g., riociguat).
• Avoid taking it with medicines for high blood pressure in the lungs or PDE5 inhibitors (e.g., sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil).
• Avoid using nitrates (e.g., isosorbide mononitrate) for heart disease while using this medicine.
