• Ulrex tablets are used in the treatment of:
• Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), such as bloating, gas, cramps, etc.
• Stomach disorders like stomach cramps, peptic ulcers, etc.

• Do not take Ulrex tablets or use caution:
• If you are allergic to any of the components of Ulrex tablets.
• If you use medication for seizures (fits); Ulrex tablets will worsen your condition
• If you are diagnosed with paralytic ileus (a condition in which the intestinal muscles have no regular movements)
• If you are prescribed certain antidepressant tablets
• If you are pregnant or planning to conceive.
• If you are breastfeeding.
• If you have conditions associated with the prostate, like prostatic hyperplasia
• If you have severe liver or kidney illness
• If you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse
• If you have glaucoma (an eye condition)

• Side effects of Ulrex tablets include:
• Nausea

Other General Warnings

• You are an older adult over 65. Dose monitoring is required for this age group as this medicine may stay in the body for a long time due to slow metabolism and cause adverse effects.
• You use Ayurvedic medication, herbal products, or supplements. They can interfere with Ulrex tablets.
• You eat highly processed or fried food. These types of food can worsen the symptoms of Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
• You use medication that causes drowsiness. Taking them with Ulrex tablets can increase sleepiness and dizziness.
• You experience heartburn and take antacids for relief. Do not take antacids and Ulrex tablets together without informing your doctor.

• Take Ulrex tablets exactly in the dose and duration advised by your doctor.
• Try to take it before meals.
• Do not exceed the dosage of Ulrex tablets, even if you cannot feel the effects of this medicine.
• Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
